The NH1 gG 50A/500V knife fuse link is a protective element for electrical installations, protecting against the effects of short circuits and overloads. Construction and product features

The fuse link is made of high-quality materials – a steatite (thermally stable material) body, silver-plated brass knife contacts and an aluminum cover, guaranteeing long-term protection against corrosion. The inside of the fuse link is tightly filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which translates into a high short-circuit breaking capacity (up to 120kA) and stable electrical parameters. Additionally, the fuse link is equipped with a dual operating indicator – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This solution ensures easy and reliable identification of a blown fuse, and also enables cooperation with the NVS 5 micro-switch for remote signaling of the fuse link status.
