Installation and device safety – NH fuse links

The NH2 gG 50A/500V fuse link is a reliable protection against the effects of short circuits and overloads in electrical installations. Designed for industrial applications, it meets the requirements of PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards. This fuse link, manufactured by ETI Polam, is characterized by a rated current of 50A and a rated voltage of 500V AC. The gG fuse class means that it provides full-range protection – both against overloads and short circuits. This is a universal solution for protecting wires in various industrial applications.

Construction and operating indicators

Made of durable steatite, with silver-plated brass knife contacts, the fuse link ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The body is tightly filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which affects the high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 120kA.

A key feature of this fuse link is the double operating indicator of the KOMBI type. The combination of a red eyelet located in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the upper cover provides a clear and easy-to-read indication of the fuse blowing. This allows both installers and end-users to quickly identify the need to replace the fuse link. Additionally, the upper indicator enables cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of operation.
