The design of the ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is based on characteristic D, which means it reacts with a delay to short-term current surges. This is particularly important when handling devices with motors or other loads generating high starting currents – this prevents unnecessary tripping of the circuit breaker. The rated current of 63A allows for the protection of circuits with higher power consumption. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6kA at both 230V and 400V, which guarantees safety in the event of a failure.

Additionally, the circuit breaker has a degree of protection IP20, which protects against accidental contact and the ingress of solid objects. A width of 1 module allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² provides flexibility when selecting appropriate cables.
