ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is a proven safety element for electrical installations in residential buildings, public facilities and industrial plants. Its task is to protect circuits against the effects of overloads and short circuits, ensuring safety of use and minimizing the risk of failure. Functionality and technical parameters

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 6A and a B characteristic, which means it reacts quickly to current increases but is tolerant to short-term surges, e.g. when starting motors. The single-pole design with an additional neutral pole (1P+N) allows for the protection of one phase circuit with a neutral wire. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6 kA at both 230V and 400V, which guarantees effective protection in the event of a short circuit.

Mounting on a DIN TH35 rail facilitates quick and easy installation in electrical distribution boards. The circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against finger contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The accepted cross-section of connection wires is from 1 to 25 mm², both solid and stranded, which provides great flexibility when selecting wires. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V and the impulse voltage Uimp is 4kV.

Comfort of use and installation

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker has been designed with the convenience of installers and users in mind. The possibility of double connection of the insulating busbar (top and bottom) and power supply from below or from above facilitates installation in various installation configurations. The switching lever has "ON/OFF" markings and the possibility of sealing in both positions, which prevents accidental change of the circuit breaker status. Additionally, the contact position indicator allows for quick visual control of the device status. The circuit breaker meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards, which confirms its compliance with applicable safety standards. The ambient operating temperature is in the range of -25°C to +55°C.
