ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is a proven safety element in electrical installations – both in residential buildings and public and industrial facilities. It provides effective protection against the effects of short circuits and overloads, protecting electrical circuits and devices connected to them. The design and B tripping characteristic make it ideal for protecting lighting circuits, socket outlets and other receivers with moderate inrush current.

Functionality and technical parameters

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker features a two-pole design and a rated current of 13A. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 6kA at both 230V and 400V, guaranteeing a quick response in the event of a failure. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against contact and ingress of solid objects. The ability to connect wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid and stranded) facilitates installation and adaptation to different types of installations. A width of 2 modules allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board.

Additionally, the circuit breaker has a rated insulation voltage Ui of 500V and withstands impulse voltages up to 4kV (Uimp), which increases its reliability in difficult working conditions. It is designed to operate in a temperature range from -25°C to +55°C and at a supply frequency of 50/60 Hz. Installation comfort and additional possibilities

ETIMAT 6 offers a number of conveniences for installers: the possibility of mounting auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10), power supply from above or below, double connection to the insulated busbar and sealing of the lever in the "On" and "Off" positions. The contact position indicator facilitates visual control of the circuit breaker status, and the "ON/OFF" marking on the operating lever increases user comfort. Each circuit breaker is individually marked with an EAN code for easy identification. The modern mounting method on a TH35 rail ensures quick and trouble-free device replacement.
