Characteristics and application

ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker with C characteristic is designed to protect circuits with receivers generating inrush currents, such as electric motors, transformers or heating devices. The C characteristic allows it to react more slowly to short current surges, so it tolerates the starting of such devices well. The rated current of 20A makes it suitable for protecting circuits with medium load. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA at 230/400V ensures effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a short circuit.

Construction and user features

ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is characterized by a solid construction and high quality workmanship. Mounting is done on a standard TH35 rail, which facilitates installation and replacement. The width of the device, 4 modules, allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. Additionally, the circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which provides protection against accidental contact and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid and stranded) provides flexibility in choosing the supply wires. The device operates in an ambient temperature range from -25°C to +55°C, which allows its use in various environmental conditions.
