The ETIMAT 6 3p+N D32 circuit breaker is a key element of every electrical installation, providing effective protection against the effects of overloads and short circuits. The four-pole design (3-phase + neutral) and D characteristic make it an ideal solution for protecting circuits with receivers with high inrush current – e.g. motors.

Functionality and technical parameters

This circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 32A and a high short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 6kA at a voltage of 230/400V. Compliance with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards guarantees its reliability and safety of use. A width of 4 modules allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² provides flexibility during installation.

The D characteristic provides a delayed response to short-term overloads, which is important for devices with motors or other receivers generating high inrush current. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is 6kA at 230V and 400V, ensuring effective protection against the effects of short circuits. The IP20 degree of protection protects against finger contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The width of the circuit breaker is 4 modules on a TH35 rail, which facilitates installation and optimizes the use of space in the switchgear cabinet. The operating temperature range from -25°C to +55°C allows use in various environmental conditions. Additional possibility of equipping with auxiliary contacts PS ETIMAT 10 and overcurrent release DA ETIMAT 10 allows to expand the functionality of the circuit breaker.

Installation and additional features

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is distinguished by a modern mounting method on a TH35 rail, which greatly facilitates its installation and replacement. Additionally, it offers:

• possibility of power supply from the top and bottom;
• possibility of connecting an insulating busbar from the top and bottom;
• contact position indicator for quick identification of the circuit breaker status;
• possibility of securing the lever in the "ON" and "OFF" position with a seal;
• clear "ON/OFF" marking on the switching lever;
• each circuit breaker has a unique EAN code for easy identification.
