This ETITEC CM T23 275/20 4+0 modular surge protector is a key element ensuring the safety and reliability of the electrical installation. This is a Class T2 device, meaning it is used in the second level of protection, directly after Class T1 arresters.

Construction and application

This surge arrester has 4 poles (4+0), meaning it protects all phases and neutral. Its compact size – only 2 modules – allows for easy integration with existing distribution boards. Optical signaling indicates when the device has operated, making it easier to identify potential problems. It is primarily intended for installation in residential and commercial buildings with a TN-S network arrangement, but can also be used in TN networks. The maximum wire cross-section of 10 mm² (solid/stranded) and 6 mm² (flexible) ensures compatibility with most standard wiring.

The device is characterized by high protection parameters: rated discharge current up to 20 kA (8/20 μs) and maximum discharge current up to 40 kA. Short-circuit strength at 25 kA guarantees its stable operation even in the event of a short circuit in the installation. It is worth noting the highest continuous AC/DC operating voltage of 275V – this is a typical value for electrical networks in Poland.
