Surge protection for electrical installations

The ETITEC ML T123 300/12.5 1+1 modular surge protector is a reliable device designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of atmospheric and switching surges. Its construction based on varistors and spark gaps provides comprehensive Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 protection, making it a universal solution for both domestic and industrial installations. Mounting is done on a standard DIN TH-35 mm mounting rail, which facilitates integration with the existing distribution board.

Construction and application

This surge protector consists of two poles and occupies 2 modules in the distribution board. It provides a protection level of up to 1.5 kV, effectively protecting connected devices from damage caused by sudden voltage increases. Optical signaling informs about the possible operation of the protector, allowing for quick identification of the problem and module replacement. The device is adapted to work in TN, TT and TN-S network systems. The maximum cross-section of wires that can be connected is 35 mm² for solid wires and 25 mm² for stranded wires.
