Residual Current Device (RCD) LRE-A is a safety element for electrical installations, designed to detect leakage currents and protect against electric shock. This device, manufactured by ETI Polam, is used in both domestic and industrial installations. A wide range of settings allows adaptation to specific needs and ensures selectivity in the event of multiple RCDs in one line.

Features and Application

The LRE-A RCD is built according to DIN 43880, ensuring its compatibility with standard modular enclosures. It has one changeover contact which, when a differential current is detected, disconnects the protected circuit. Built-in filters protect against external interference, such as pulsating DC currents, ensuring reliable operation in accordance with VDE 0664 and IEC 23 standards. Remote testing and automatic or manual reset options increase the functionality of the device. The RCD works with CTE current transformers with an inner diameter from 35 to 210 mm.
