The LRE-B 110-230-380V residual current device is a key element ensuring safety in electrical installations. The LRE-B device is designed to operate in alternating current circuits. Its task is to quickly detect leakage currents that may occur due to insulation damage or direct contact with conductive elements. When a dangerous differential current is detected, the device automatically disconnects the circuit, minimizing the risk of electric shock. This ensures a high level of safety for users and protects electrical devices from damage.

Characteristics and Construction Features

The LRE-B device is characterized by two tripping current thresholds – 25 mA and 250,000 mA. The lower current (25 mA) provides protection for people, while the higher current (250,000 mA) is used to protect the installation from the effects of short circuits. It has a fault memory function, which makes it easier to locate the fault after it occurs. Additionally, it is equipped with a differential current indicator, which informs about the correct operation of the device. The use of screw connections ensures a secure and durable connection with the wires. Compact dimensions (52.5 mm width, 85 mm height and 73 mm depth) allow for easy mounting in electrical distribution boards. Detachable terminals facilitate replacement or modernization of the installation. Adjustable tripping time allows you to adapt the device's operation to the specific operating conditions of the installation – the minimum delay is 0.02 s and the maximum is 0.5 s.
