Residual Current Device (RCD) EFI6-P2 A 80/0.03 is a key element of every modern electrical installation, providing protection for people and devices against the effects of electric shock and fire hazard. The rated current of 80A and the sensitivity of 30mA make the device perfect for securing circuits with higher power consumption, while ensuring an adequate level of personal protection. It can be used in TN-S, TN-C-S, TT and IT networks.

Construction and technical parameters

The RCD has been designed with easy installation and intuitive operation in mind. Compact dimensions (width 2 modules, depth 68 mm) allow it to be installed even in limited space of the distribution board. Connection terminals allow connection of wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm², both solid and stranded. Additionally, the RCD has a main contact position indicator to facilitate identification of the device status and a test button for regular checking of its functionality. Conditional short-circuit strength at 6 kA ensures reliable operation in the event of a short circuit in the installation. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 440 V and the rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 6 kV. The device operates at a frequency of 50/60 Hz and has a protection degree of IP20.
