Bistable relay 24V, DIN rail mounting BIS-411-24V
Bistable relay for lighting and device control
The BIS-411-24V bistable relay is a reliable solution for remotely switching on and off lighting or other electrical devices from multiple points. Ideal for both home and commercial installations where convenient control from different locations is required. The device is mounted on a standard DIN rail, making it easy to integrate with existing electrical infrastructure.
How does a bistable relay work?
The receiver is switched on after a short current pulse, generated by pressing any momentary (bell) button connected to the relay. Another pulse will switch off the receiver, or in the event of a power failure, the device state will remain unchanged. This eliminates the need for switches with locking, offering flexibility and ease of use.
Application and benefits
The BIS-411-24V relay finds wide application in:
* Lighting control: ideal for lighting systems in homes, offices, hotels or warehouses.
* Building automation: enables integration with smart home systems.
* Remote device control: allows you to switch on and off various electrical devices from different points.
* Alarm systems: can be used as an element of an alarm or notification system.
Thanks to its design and functionality, this relay provides:
* Ease of use: the ability to control from multiple points without having to physically go to the switch.
* Flexibility: easy configuration and adaptation to individual needs.
* Reliability: solid construction guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation.
* Safety: protection against overload and short circuit (up to 16A).
* Simple installation: thanks to the standard mounting on a DIN rail (TH-35), installation is quick and intuitive for every electrician.
The BIS-411-24V relay is characterized by a control voltage of 24V AC and has one changeover contact (1NO/1NC), which allows you to control various types of loads – from incandescent bulbs to LED fluorescent lamps or electronic transformers. It should be remembered that the relay does not work with backlit buttons. The maximum switching capacity for incandescent bulbs is 600W, and for fluorescent lamps 300VA. The standby power consumption is 0.15W and the on-state power consumption is 0.6W. The device operates at temperatures from -25°C to 50°C and has a protection class of IP20.
