Bistable relay for smart lighting control

This BIS-410 bistable relay is an ideal solution for both installers and end-users who want to gain convenience and functionality in lighting control. The device is designed for flush-mounting and allows you to switch on lighting or other devices from several different points – simply connect several control buttons in parallel. An additional timer increases comfort, offering the ability to set the operating time from 1 to 15 minutes.

The BIS-410 relay is not only a simple-to-use switch, but also an element of a smart home system. Thanks to the ability to cooperate with backlit buttons, it allows you to create aesthetic and functional installations. It will work in any room where comfort and modern solutions are important. It is particularly recommended for controlling LED lighting, fluorescent lamps and other receivers with high inrush current – the BIS-410-LED version is also available, specially adapted for this type of application.

Technical characteristics and installation

The BIS-410 relay operates at 230V AC and has a maximum switching capacity of 16A for AC-1 loads (3000W for traditional bulbs). Installation is done in a standard flush-mounting box with a diameter of 60mm, which simplifies installation even in existing electrical installations. Screw terminals ensure secure and durable wire connections. The device is characterized by a response delay of 0.1 ÷ 0.2 s and a control pulse current below 5mA. It is important to remember that after a power failure, the relay does not retain its state – the contact returns to the off position. If too many backlit buttons are connected, there is a risk of self-activation of the lighting or its constant on state.
