Bistable relay for advanced installations

The BIS-419-24V bistable relay is an intelligent solution for controlling lighting or other devices from multiple points. Its sequential function allows for the creation of complex operating scenarios, ideal for both home and commercial installations. The device is designed for DIN rail mounting and powered by 9-30V AC/DC, ensuring wide compatibility with various systems.

Functionality and application

The BIS-419 relay has two independent control circuits and two R1 and R2 outputs, allowing you to switch on two circuits according to the selected sequence. This allows you to control the lighting in a room from several different locations, e.g. at the entrance and by the bed. LED indication of power status (green) and switching on of individual circuits (red R1 and R2) facilitates monitoring of the device's operation. The relay offers four operating modes (A, B, C, D) that allow you to adapt its operation to individual needs. These functions include repeating the sequence, disconnecting circuits and remembering the last state after a power failure.

Construction and parameters

The device is characterized by a compact design – it occupies only one module on the DIN rail (18mm wide). The maximum switching current is 16A (cos φ = 0.6), and the maximum switching capacity for fluorescent lamps is 1000 VA. The relay is adapted to cooperate with various types of loads, including incandescent bulbs (up to 2000W) and LED and ESL fluorescent lamps. The power supply in the range of 9-30V AC/DC provides flexibility in choosing the voltage source. An important feature is the ability to cooperate with backlit buttons – which increases comfort of use. The use of screw terminals facilitates the connection of wires with a cross-section of up to 2.5 mm².
