Bistable relay for advanced lighting control

The BIS-419 relay is a versatile device designed to control lighting or other loads from multiple points. Its sequential function and compatibility with backlit buttons make it an ideal solution for both home and commercial installations. DIN rail mounting simplifies installation and integration with existing electrical infrastructure.

Functionality and application

The BIS-419 relay allows you to turn circuits on or off from different points, using momentary (bell) switches connected in parallel. It has two independent outputs, allowing you to control two circuits according to the selected sequence. This makes it possible to create advanced lighting scenes or control different groups of loads with a single system. The device is particularly useful in applications where flexibility and adaptability to individual user needs are required.

Construction and parameters

The BIS-419 relay is characterized by a compact design – it occupies only 1 module on a DIN rail. AC power supply in the range of 100-230V ensures compatibility with most electrical installations. Two switching contacts with a maximum current of 16A allow you to connect various loads, including incandescent bulbs, fluorescent lamps and devices with higher power consumption. Additionally, LEDs indicating the power supply status and the status of the contacts (R1 and R2) facilitate monitoring of the device's operation. The relay is designed to work with backlit buttons, which increases user comfort.

Operating modes and sequences

BIS-419 offers several operating modes (A, B, C, D) that allow you to adapt the relay's behavior to specific needs:

• Mode A and C: Subsequent button presses cyclically switch the sequence 0-3.
• Mode B and D: Short button presses switch sequences 1-3, and a long press disconnects both contacts (sequence 0). A long press in any sequence also disconnects both contacts. After a power failure, the relay resets the contact status, and after restarting, it starts working from sequence no. 0.
• The state memory function allows you to restore the previous state after pressing the button again (does not apply in the event of a power failure).

Thanks to the variety of operating modes, BIS-419 can be used in many different applications – from simple lighting control to more complex home automation systems.
