Bistable relay for lighting and other device control

The BIS-419-LED bistable relay is a solution designed for convenient control of lighting or other devices from several independent points. Thanks to the use of parallel-connected control buttons, it is possible to switch circuits on and off from different locations. The BIS-419-LED model is distinguished by its ability to work with receivers with high starting current, such as LED fluorescent lamps, electronic transformers or discharge lamps. Mounted on a DIN rail, it occupies only one module (18 mm), making it easy to integrate with the existing installation.

Functionality and application

The BIS-419 relay has two independent switching sections, allowing you to control two lighting circuits or other receivers. Various operating modes (A, B, C, D) are available, allowing you to adapt the relay's behavior to specific installation needs. Sequential operation allows for precise circuit control, and built-in LEDs indicate the status of individual sections (R1 and R2). The relay's power supply is indicated by a green LED (U). The relay resets the contact state after a power failure and starts working from sequence No. 0 after re-powering.

For installers and end users

This relay model is particularly useful in installations where lighting control is required from multiple points – e.g. in corridors, stairs or large rooms. The ability to work with backlit buttons increases user comfort. It is worth paying attention to the resistance to surge currents, which makes it an ideal choice for systems using energy-saving LED and ESL light sources. The maximum AC-1 load current is 2 x 16 A (with a short-term surge of 120 A/20 ms), which ensures safety and reliability. Mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail is quick and easy. The supply voltage is 165÷265 V AC.
