Bistable relay BIS-413 24V BIS-413-24V
Bistable relay for smart lighting and device control
The BIS-413 24V bistable relay is a reliable solution for remote control of lighting or other electrical devices from multiple points. Thanks to its ability to work with buttons connected in parallel, it provides convenience and flexibility in managing the installation. This is particularly useful in smart home systems, where the user can control devices from different locations.
Functionality and application
The BIS-413-24V relay features an electronic switch function and a built-in timer. A short press of the button turns on the receiver, which will turn off after a set time (1-12 minutes) or after pressing the button again. A long press (minimum 2 seconds) keeps the contact closed until the next press or power failure. This configuration allows you to create control scenarios tailored to individual needs. Mounting on a DIN rail (35mm) makes it easy to integrate with existing electrical infrastructure.
Specification and operating parameters
The relay operates at 24V AC and has a maximum switching capacity of 16A for AC-1 loads. It has a single changeover contact (NO/NC), allowing control of various receivers. The device is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to 50°C and is characterized by low power consumption (0.7W). It is important to remember that the relay does not work with backlit buttons due to the low supply voltage. The rated inrush current is 0.005A, and the supply voltage range is 9÷30 V AC/DC.
For installers:
- Mounting on a standard TH-35 DIN rail ensures quick and easy installation in electrical panels.
- Compact dimensions (1 module – 18mm wide) allow for efficient use of space in control cabinets.
- Screw terminals with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² guarantee a secure connection of wires.
- Attention should be paid to the limitations regarding cooperation with backlit buttons and the potential need to use an external switching element for receivers with high inrush current (e.g. LED fluorescent lamps).
- For loads requiring more power than the relay's maximum switching capacity, it is recommended to use a contactor.
