Bistable relay for lighting and device control

The BIS-414-24V bistable relay is a reliable solution for controlling lighting or other devices from multiple points. It is particularly useful in lighting control systems, where it is necessary to switch circuits on and off from different locations. The device is characterized by sequential operation, meaning that each press of the control button changes the output state, going through successive operating modes.

This model is designed for mounting on a 35mm DIN rail, which simplifies its installation in electrical distribution boards. 24V AC/DC power supply ensures compatibility with most standard installations. The relay has two independent outputs, indicated by LEDs, allowing you to monitor the status of the circuits.

Construction and principle of operation

The BIS-414-24V relay operates on the principle of switching circuits using control pulses. After connecting to the power supply, the relay remains in the off state. Each press of the button connected to the control input changes the state of the outputs – from 0 to 1, from 1 to 2, etc. In the event of a power failure, the contact state is reset to the initial position (off). It is worth remembering that this model *does not work with backlit buttons* due to the specifics of current consumption.

It has two changeover contacts (2NO/NC) and a rated current of 16A. The power consumption is 0.7W and the operating temperature is in the range of -25°C to +50°C. The device is compact – it occupies only one module (18mm) wide on the DIN rail.
