Fuse module – reliable circuit protection

This single-pole fuse module BZ-1 is a compact solution for protecting electrical installations from the effects of overloads and short circuits. Designed for both professional and home use, it provides effective protection for connected devices. Its versatility makes it suitable for a variety of systems – from home distribution boards to advanced industrial installations and monitoring systems.

Functionality and installation

The BZ-1 module is mounted on a standard DIN TH-35 mm rail, making it easy to integrate with existing electrical infrastructure. Compact dimensions (1 module, i.e. 18 mm wide) allow for efficient use of space in the distribution board. Made of duroplast, it provides good insulation and durability. Connection of wires is done using screw terminals, accepting wire cross-sections up to 2.5 mm².

Signaling and safety

The operation of the fuse is signaled by a built-in red LED, which facilitates quick location of the damaged circuit. It is worth remembering that even after the fuse element blows, a small current (up to 3 mA) may flow through the circuit to power the LED – therefore, when protecting receivers with very low power (<10W), voltage may remain at the output. The module works with standard Ø5x20 mm fuse links, allowing you to choose the appropriate current value (from 0.1 A to 6.3 A) – both fast (S) and time-delay (T).

Technical specifications in practice

The BZ-1 module is adapted to work in a wide temperature range (from -25°C to +50°C) and at a rated voltage of up to 250 V AC/DC (depending on the fuse link used). The maximum load current is 6 A. Thanks to this, this module is a reliable protection for various electrical receivers. The degree of protection IP20 provides protection against accidental contact and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The tightening torque of the screw terminals is 0.4 Nm.
