Smart motion sensor lighting DRL-12
The laser distance sensor DRL-12 is a modern solution for automatic lighting control, ideal for corridors, stairwells and other spaces where energy saving and user comfort are important. It uses Time of Flight (ToF) technology to precisely detect motion and turn on the light only when needed. This minimizes unnecessary energy consumption and extends the life of light sources.
Precision and reliability
The DRL-12 sensor uses a laser beam of light, measuring the time it takes to return after reflection from an obstacle. This allows for accurate determination of distance and elimination of false alarms. Thanks to the adjustable detection range (0.1 – 2 m) and threshold brightness sensitivity (2 – 500 lx), it can be perfectly adapted to specific lighting conditions and user needs. The sensor effectively ignores movement outside the stair area, focusing solely on detecting the presence of people on them.
Versatility and easy installation
DRL-12 offers a wide range of configuration options, including adjustable light-on hold time (0 – 10 minutes) and cooperation with AS-225 cascade controllers. Flush-mounting in a standard ø35 mm box makes integration with the existing electrical installation simple and quick. Available in many front color variants (aluminum, white, merbau satin, black walnut and others), allowing it to be matched to the interior design. The ability to directly control 12/24 V lighting circuits (up to 4 A) eliminates the need for additional intermediate elements.
