Intelligent lighting control with DRL-12 sensor

The DRL-12 laser distance sensor is a modern solution for automatic lighting control, particularly useful in corridors, stairs or other rooms where light is needed only in the presence of people. It utilizes Time of Flight (ToF) technology for precise motion and distance detection, providing comfort and energy savings. The sensor is designed for flush-mounting in a 35 mm diameter box.

Precision and reliable operation

DRL-12 uses a laser beam to measure the time of flight of light, allowing for an accurate determination of the distance to an obstacle. This allows the sensor to react only to movement within a specified range, eliminating false alarms caused, for example, by animals or air movement. Adjustable detection range (0.1 - 2 m) and an ambient light sensor allow you to adapt the sensor's operation to specific conditions and user preferences.

Versatility and easy installation

The DRL-12 sensor offers a wide range of adjustments, including light-on time (0 - 10 minutes), activation threshold (2 - 500 lx) and detection distance (0.1 - 2 m). The ability to directly control lighting circuits with a voltage of 12/24 V (up to 4 A) and compatibility with AS-225 controllers increase its functionality and flexibility. Mounting in a standard flush-mounting box ø35 mm simplifies installation even in existing electrical installations.

Adaptation to needs

Available in many colors (aluminum, black, black ash, ash satin, black merbau, merbau satin, black walnut, black pine, pine satin, black afromosia, afromosia satin, beech satin, beech black, black oak, oak satin and white), allowing it to be matched to the interior design. Thermal protection protects against overheating of the device. An LED indicates the sensor's operating status.
