Smart home mixed module – lighting and blind control

This mixed module, designated mH-IO12E6 LEVEL3, is a central element of a smart home system, allowing comprehensive control of both lighting and motorized devices such as blinds, gates, or awnings. It is a versatile solution for installers and users who value comfort and functionality. The module is designed for DIN rail mounting and occupies 6 modules in the distribution board.

Functionality and application

The mH-IO12E6 module offers a wide range of possibilities. It has 12 switchable inputs that can be used to connect buttons controlling lighting or other receivers operating on the on/off principle. In addition, 6 inputs are dedicated to operating motorized devices (up/down, left/right). On the outputs, we find 11 outputs for on/off receivers and 6 outputs for motorized devices. This makes the module perfect for a variety of applications – from simple lighting control systems to advanced home automation scenarios.

The module is powered by a voltage of 20-26V DC, which ensures safe operation. Communication with touch panels is carried out via the CAN line. The ability to expand the system with additional mixed modules (of different levels) allows it to be adapted to the individual needs and requirements of each building. It is important to remember the order of installation – starting from level 1, then moving to level 2 and so on. Each level has separate numbering to facilitate installation and configuration.

Construction features and parameters

The mH-IO12E6 module is characterized by a solid construction and high quality workmanship. It has LED indicators signaling the operating status of individual circuits. The IP20 protection class provides protection against accidental contact and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The module inputs are adapted to cooperate with both momentary (bell) and bistable switches powered by a safe voltage of 24V DC. The outputs, on the other hand, are intended for cooperation with relay modules of the type mH-R8x8, mH-R2x16 or mH-RE4. This allows the system to be adapted to various receiver loads.

The module has 28 input channels and 24 output channels, providing great flexibility in configuring the home automation system.
