The DR-05W motion sensor is a practical solution for automatic lighting control. It is ideal for use in both residential and commercial buildings, providing convenience and energy savings. Surface mounting simplifies installation, and the high IP44 protection class allows it to be used in areas exposed to moisture – but not directly in the rain.

This passive infrared (PIR) sensor reacts to movement within its range, automatically turning on the light and turning it off after a set time. This means you don't have to remember to manually turn the lights on and off, which translates to user comfort and reduced energy consumption. This is especially useful in places such as corridors, yards, building entrances or garages.

Versatile application and adjustment

The DR-05W sensor offers a wide range of adjustments, allowing you to tailor its operation to individual needs. The ability to adjust the on-time (from 8 seconds to 10 minutes) and the twilight sensitivity (3-2000 lx) allows you to precisely control the device's operation. This allows you to set it up to react only under certain lighting conditions and avoid unnecessary turning on the light during the day. The detection angle of 140 to 180 degrees and a range of up to 12 meters provide a wide monitoring area.
