The OM-611 power limit device is designed for mounting on a DIN rail and effectively protects single-phase installations from overload. Its main function is to disconnect the power supply when the set power consumption value is exceeded by the receivers. This is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who want to protect their devices and electrical installation.

Functionality and Application

OM-611 works with a current transformer, which allows monitoring of the load of the measuring circuit. This makes it possible to set the relay activation threshold even above 5A, adapting the device to the specific needs of the application. The current transformer is connected to the measured circuit, and its output to the OM measurement terminals, allowing control of circuits with different load capacities. The operating status is indicated by LEDs – green indicates power supply, and pulsating red indicates exceeding the power threshold.

This limiter finds application in homes, workshops, small businesses, and anywhere where there is a risk of overloading the electrical installation. It helps avoid equipment damage and ensures safe use of electrical energy.

Adjustment and Flexibility

OM-611 stands out for its ability to adjust the activation time (2-40 seconds) and the power return time (15-300 seconds). This allows precise adjustment of the device's operation to the load characteristics and specifics of the installation. The adjustable activation threshold (0.5÷5 A) allows you to adapt the limiter's sensitivity to specific needs. The delayed power return function guarantees stable operation and minimizes the risk of unnecessary shutdowns. The device is compact – it occupies only 1 module (18 mm) on a 35 mm rail – which facilitates mounting in electrical switchboards.
