Functionality and operating modes

The PCZ-528.4 controller offers three operating modes, tailored to different needs:

• Automatic mode: The controller executes the programmed schedule, operating fully autonomously.
• Semi-automatic mode: Allows momentary switching of the relay state without disrupting the program operation – ideal for manual corrections. Operation in this mode is signaled by a flashing display.
• Manual mode: Allows direct control of the relay using buttons on the housing or an external button connected to the control input.

Thanks to this, the controller can be used in a wide spectrum of applications – from simple switching on and off of lighting to advanced energy management systems.

The PCZ-528.4 controller offers extensive programming possibilities:

• 256 programs: Possibility of creating complex schedules with high precision.
• Cyclic programming: Programs can be executed in seven defined date ranges throughout the year.
• Holidays: Possibility of entering 32 holidays with individual program assignment.
• Hourly and astronomical cycle: Choice between a fixed time and control dependent on the position of the sun for each program.
• Time offset: Precise adjustment of the on/off time relative to the astronomical point (e.g. sunset).
• Days of the week: Individual setting of days of the week on which a given program is to be executed.
• PCZ Configurator mobile application: Quick and convenient configuration using a smartphone with NFC (Android).
• PIN protection: Protection of settings against unauthorized access.
• Operating time counter: Measurement of the receiver's on-time in different periods (day, month, year) and the ability to limit the total operating time to 99999 hours.
• Control input: Connection of an external button for manual control of the controller.
