Switching stabilizer ZI-14, input voltage 10÷28V AC, output voltage 5, 12, 18, 24V DC, I=3A
Impulse power supply – reliable power supply in your installation
This ZI-14 impulse stabilizer is a compact and efficient solution for powering devices requiring a stable voltage. Designed to operate within a wide range of input voltages (10÷28V AC), it provides a stable output voltage (5, 12, 18, 24V DC) with a current of up to 3A. It will work in both new and modernized systems.
Versatility and flexibility of application
ZI-14 is a power supply that allows you to connect both alternating and direct current – giving you great freedom in choosing the power source. The high switching frequency (52kHz) ensures efficient operation and minimizes energy losses. The ability to select the output voltage (5V, 12V, 18V or 24V DC) increases its versatility and allows it to be adapted to different receivers.
Design and mounting
The stabilizer is designed for mounting on a standard 35mm rail, taking up only 3 modules (52.5mm). Screw connections with a cross-section of 2.5mm² ensure a secure and safe connection of the wires. Remember to maintain the appropriate tightening torque of the screws (0.5 Nm). The device operates in a temperature range from -10°C to +40°C and has a protection class of IP20. The lack of galvanic isolation between the input and output should be taken into account when designing the installation.
Key features and benefits:
- Wide input voltage range: Allows powering from various AC and DC sources without the need for additional converters.
- Output voltage selection: Allows you to adapt the power supply to specific application needs – 5V, 12V, 18V or 24V DC.
- Compact dimensions: Takes up only 3 modules on a 35mm rail, making it easy to install in tight spaces.
- High switching frequency: Ensures efficient operation and minimizes energy losses.
- Screw terminals: Allow easy and secure connection of wires with a cross-section of up to 2.5mm².
- Short-circuit protection: In the event of a short circuit at the output, the power supply switches to current limiting mode, protecting the circuit from damage.
- Rated power: 72 VA provides sufficient power reserve for most applications.
Remember that a squeak may occur when the output terminals are short-circuited – this is a normal phenomenon related to the reduction of the switching frequency to approx. 1.5 kHz in this situation. For sensitive radio or microprocessor devices, it is recommended to use an additional LC filter at the output of the power supply to improve the power quality.
