The laser distance and motion sensor DRL-12 is a modern solution for lighting automation, ideal for corridors, stairs or other spaces where it is important to turn on the light only when a user is present. Functions and capabilities

The DRL-12 sensor stands out with a wide range of adjustments, allowing you to tailor its operation to individual needs. Smooth adjustment of the detection range (0.1 – 2 m) allows for precise setting of the operating area, and a built-in brightness sensor prevents unnecessary lighting during the day. Additionally, adjustable light-on time (0 – 10 minutes) and soft on/off lighting function provide user comfort. The sensor also works with AS-225 cascade controllers, allowing you to create an impressive cascading lighting effect on stairs.

Installation and technical parameters

Installing the sensor is simple and intuitive – just place it in a standard flush-mounted box with a diameter of 35 mm. The power supply is 9-27 V DC, which ensures compatibility with most available power sources. The maximum load current is 4 A (50 W at 12 V DC), and connections are made using 2.5 mm² screw terminals. Thanks to thermal protection, the sensor is resistant to overheating. An LED indicates the device's operating status.

The sensor offers a wide range of configurable parameters – the supply voltage is in the range of 9 to 27 V DC, and the trigger threshold can be adjusted from 2 to 500 lx. The detection field is adjustable from 0.1 to 2 m, and the receiver activation time from 0 to 10 minutes. It uses ToF laser detection with a wavelength of 940 nm and has 2.5 mm² screw terminals for connecting wires. The operating temperature is in the range of -10 to 45°C, and the external dimensions are 45 x 45 x 1.5 mm (internal box: ø35 mm, depth 45 mm). The degree of protection is IP40.
