Saddle connection for concrete and reinforced concrete pipes

This Fabekun saddle connection, with a built-in ball joint, is a solution designed for quick and tight connection of pipes with different diameters – the main pipe (DN300) and the connection pipe (DN/OD160). Intended for use in external sewage systems, it works perfectly in both new and modernized systems. Thanks to its special design, installation is carried out without the need to cut the main pipeline, which minimizes disruption and saves time.

Design and application

The connection is dedicated to concrete and reinforced concrete pipes (according to EN 1917 standard), as well as to pipe channels intended for the drainage of sewage, mixed water and rainwater. Particularly useful in road construction and for domestic connections. The possibility of use for pipes with a wall thickness of 30 to 85 mm ensures a wide range of compatibility. The built-in ball joint allows compensation for differences in pipe settlement, providing flexibility of the connection in the range of 0° to 13°. This is an important solution that meets the requirements of DWA-A 139 standard, minimizing stress in the installation. The three-dimensional gasket perfectly adapts to the inner radius of the main pipe, guaranteeing a tightness level of 2.5 bar.
