Saddle connection for concrete and reinforced concrete pipes

This Fabekun saddle connection is designed for connecting 160 mm diameter pipes to main concrete or reinforced concrete pipes with a diameter of 250 mm. The design with a built-in ball joint provides flexibility and compensation for differences in pipe settlement, which is particularly important in sewage systems. The saddle is dedicated to pipes with a wall thickness of 30 to 105 mm, making it a universal solution in many applications.

Installation and application

The Fabekun connection enables quick and tight installation without the need to cut the main pipeline. Simply drill a hole of the appropriate diameter, insert the connection and secure it with expansion resin. This solution minimizes disruption to the operation of the installation during assembly – the channel remains accessible. In addition, the design protects the reinforcing steel of the main pipe from corrosion, which extends the life of the entire installation. It is ideal for constructing domestic connections to the external sewage system, as well as in wastewater, mixed water and rainwater drainage systems. It can also be used for pipes with a repair sleeve.
