The product belongs to the VPC XXL series, specifically designed for large nominal diameters from 1000mm to 2800mm, enabling the secure connection of sewage pipes made of various materials such as cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, or GRP.

High-quality construction and materials

The construction is based on three main elements: an adjustable sealing flange made of EPDM elastomeric rubber according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60 or NBR in the oil-resistant version, a centrally self-aligning plastic centering cage, and two stainless steel clamping bands made of V2A (1.4301) or V4A (1.4404).

The positioning basket is made of a high-impact and crack-resistant plastic, resistant to both low and high temperatures. Its conically deformable middle section, along with the strap guide grooves, ensures centric and stepless adjustment for cylindrical material alignment. The V4A alloy steel used belongs to grades that are particularly resistant to corrosion and acids.

Technical parameters and performance

The clamping range is exactly 2295-2345mm with a maximum reduction of ≤50mm. The multiple double sealing profile has a width of 380mm (insertion depth of 190mm on each side), which forms the basis for a professional, leak-proof, and secure pipe connection.

The diameter reduction process occurs uniformly around the entire circumference while maintaining the centric position of the elements - the articulated middle part allows for separate reduction to be performed on each side of the coupling. Thanks to the design of the positioning basket and the sealing sleeve, the rubber is prevented from sliding out or wrinkling during diameter adjustment.

Application and practical benefits

It enables stepless adjustment on both sides with reliable shear load transfer, tested according to DIN 4060 and DIN EN 295. The main benefit is the ability to connect pipes of the same nominal diameter but different materials - even those with significantly different outer diameters resulting from the pipe construction type.

The solution eliminates the need for additional compensating rings when covering large ranges of diameter differences. The V4A special version is resistant to oils and gasoline and is particularly resistant to aggressive substances contained in sewage and soil.
