Construction and operating mechanism

The core of the construction is an adjustable sealing flange made of elastomeric rubber, which serves as the primary sealing element of the connection. It works in conjunction with a concentrically self-centering plastic centering basket, which functions as a positioning element and guides the diameter reduction process. The assembly is completed by two stainless steel clamping bands, which allow for bilateral, separate, and smooth adjustment of the connected elements.

The operating mechanism is based on two-dimensional diameter reduction - the reduction process occurs uniformly around the entire circumference while maintaining a centric position. The articulated middle part allows for independent reduction on each side of the coupling, ensuring precise fit even with significant dimensional differences between the connected pipes.
