The Funke VPC flexible joint is a reliable solution for connecting drainage pipes made of different materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP, as well as smooth, corrugated and ribbed pipes. Thanks to its design, the joint allows connecting pipes with different outer diameters, eliminating the need for additional adapters and compensating rings in many cases. The joint consists of an elastomeric sealing cuff made of EPDM (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning cage made of durable plastic and two straps made of alloy steel. This construction ensures not only tightness (according to PN-EN 1610 thanks to the double sealing profile), but also a stable and secure connection resistant to shear loads. The positioning cage centers the connected elements, and the straps allow for precise diameter adjustment.
