Flexible connector Funke VPC is a reliable solution for connecting drainage pipes made of various materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP and others, both smooth, corrugated and ribbed. It allows connecting pipes of the same nominal diameter, despite differences in outer diameters resulting from the type of pipe used. This is crucial for renovations and new installations, where we encounter different types of materials.

Construction and principle of operation

The connector consists of several key elements: an elastomeric sealing cuff made of EPDM (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning cage made of durable plastic and two steel alloy straps. The cuff has a double sealing profile ensuring tightness according to PN-EN 1610. The positioning cage centers the connected elements and allows smooth diameter adjustment using the straps. The straps made of alloy steel allow for even diameter adjustment on both sides of the connector. The design prevents the rubber from sliding or wrinkling during installation.
