The Funke VPC® flexible connector is a reliable solution for connecting drainage pipes made of different materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP, as well as smooth, corrugated and ribbed pipes. It allows connecting elements with different outer diameters, eliminating the need for additional adapters in many cases. This makes installation faster and easier.

Construction and operating principle

The connector consists of several key elements: an elastomeric sealing cuff made of EPDM (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning cage made of durable plastic and two steel alloy straps. The cuff has a double sealing profile, ensuring tightness confirmed by the PN-EN 1610 standard. The positioning cage centers the connected elements, and the straps allow for precise diameter adjustment. The straps are made of alloy steel providing durability and corrosion resistance. The design prevents the rubber from folding when adjusting diameters.
