The VPC flexible joint is a reliable solution for connecting drainage pipes made of different materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP and others, both smooth and with a profiled surface. It allows connecting elements with different outer diameters without the need for additional adapters. The joint consists of an elastomeric sealing sleeve, a plastic positioning basket and two stainless steel straps. This construction ensures not only a tight connection – confirmed by a double sealing profile in accordance with PN-EN 1610 – but also the ability to compensate for small displacements and irregularities. The sleeve made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene rubber) is resistant to sewage and weather conditions. The positioning basket made of high-impact plastic ensures centric alignment of the connected pipes.
