Design and operating principle

The key to the universality of the VPC connector is its well-thought-out design. It consists of an elastomer sealing cuff made of EPDM (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning cage made of durable plastic and two steel alloy straps. The cuff has a double sealing profile ensuring tightness in accordance with the PN-EN 1610 standard. The positioning cage centers the connected elements and allows for smooth diameter adjustment, and the steel straps ensure even pressure of the cuff onto pipes of different outer diameters. Thanks to this, the diameter reduction process takes place evenly around the entire circumference.
