Universal connector for sewage systems – regardless of pipe material

The flexible Funke VPC® connector is designed for connecting drainage pipes made of various materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP, as well as smooth, corrugated and ribbed pipes. A key feature is the ability to connect elements with different outer diameters, which greatly simplifies installation work and eliminates the need for additional adapters.

The connector consists of several key components: an elastomeric sealing cuff providing a tight seal, a positioning basket made of plastic stabilizing the connection, and two steel alloy straps enabling precise diameter adjustment. The sealing cuff is made of EPDM rubber (compliant with PN-EN 681-1 WC/60) and has a double sealing profile guaranteeing reliability. The positioning basket, resistant to mechanical damage and temperature changes, ensures centric alignment of the connected elements.

The use of the VPC® connector is not only flexibility in the selection of materials and pipe diameters. The connector design allows for bilateral, separate diameter adjustment, which is particularly useful in repairs or modernization of existing installations. This makes it possible to connect elements with minimal dimensional differences without the risk of leakage. In addition, the design prevents the rubber from slipping or wrinkling during diameter adjustment.
