The Funke VPC® flexible connector is a reliable solution for connecting drainage pipes made of different materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP and others, both smooth, corrugated and ribbed. It allows connecting pipes with different outer diameters, eliminating the need for additional adapters in many cases. This saves time and costs during installation.

The connector consists of an elastomeric sealing sleeve made of EPDM (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning cage made of durable plastic and two straps made of alloy steel. This construction ensures not only tightness (according to PN-EN 1610 thanks to the double sealing profile), but also flexibility and resistance to loads. The positioning cage centrally positions the connected elements, and the straps allow for precise diameter adjustment.

The oil-resistant version (VPC1070OEL) is distinguished by the use of V4A (1.4404) stainless steel for the production of fastening elements. This material is characterized by exceptional resistance to corrosion, acids, oils and gasoline – making the connector an ideal choice for applications in harsh conditions, e.g. in sewage containing aggressive substances or in areas exposed to seawater.
