The flexible Funke VPC® connector is a solution dedicated to connecting drainage pipes made of various materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP, as well as smooth, corrugated and ribbed pipes. Construction and principle of operation

The key to the connector's versatility is its construction. It consists of three main elements: an elastomeric sealing sleeve made of EPDM (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning cage made of durable plastic and two steel alloy straps. The sleeve provides a reliable seal thanks to the double profile (according to PN-EN 1610), and the positioning cage centers the connected elements. The straps allow precise adjustment of the diameter on both sides of the connection. The oil-resistant version (VPC270OEL_0020) has elements made of V4A stainless steel (1.4404), which guarantees resistance to oils, gasoline and aggressive chemicals present in wastewater and soil – an ideal solution in places exposed to such factors.
