Funke VPC® flexible connector is a solution dedicated to connecting drainage pipes made of various materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP, as well as pipes with smooth, corrugated or ribbed surfaces. Its design allows for compensation of differences in the outer diameters of the connected elements, which significantly simplifies installation and ensures tightness. This is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users looking for a reliable way to connect drainage elements.

Construction and principle of operation

The key to the universality of the VPC connector is its well-thought-out design. It consists of several key elements: an elastomeric sealing cuff made of EPDM (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning cage made of durable plastic and two steel alloy straps. The cuff has a double sealing profile guaranteeing a reliable connection in accordance with the PN-EN 1610 standard. The positioning cage ensures centric alignment of the connected pipes, and the straps allow for precise diameter adjustment. All this makes the installation process quick and intuitive.

Particular attention should be paid to the version resistant to oil – the elements are made of V4A stainless steel (1.4404), which provides high resistance to corrosion, acids and aggressive substances contained in wastewater and soil. The connector is also resistant to gasoline and saltwater.
