Funke VPC® flexible connector is a solution dedicated to connecting sewer pipes made of various materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP, as well as smooth, corrugated and ribbed pipes. This allows for efficient and secure connections even in the case of differences in the outer diameters of the pipes. It is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who value durability and ease of installation.

Construction and principle of operation

The VPC® connector consists of several key elements: an elastomeric sealing cuff made of EPDM (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning cage made of durable plastic and two steel alloy straps. The cuff has a double sealing profile, guaranteeing a reliable connection in accordance with PN-EN 1610. The positioning cage ensures centric alignment of the connected elements, and the straps allow for precise diameter adjustment. The oil-resistant version is characterized by elements made of V4A stainless steel (1.4404), which ensures resistance to oils, gasoline and aggressive chemical substances contained in wastewater and soil.
