Design and application

The joint consists of several key elements: an elastomeric sealing sleeve made of EPDM (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning cage made of durable plastic and two steel alloy straps. The sleeve has a double sealing profile, guaranteeing connection reliability according to PN-EN 1610. The positioning cage ensures centric alignment of the connected pipes, and the straps allow for precise diameter adjustment. The VPC joint is particularly useful in situations where it is necessary to connect pipes of different diameters or made of incompatible materials.

Resistance and durability

The oil-resistant version of the VPC joint is characterized by elements made of V4A stainless steel (1.4404), which provides exceptional resistance to corrosion, the action of oils, gasoline and aggressive chemicals contained in wastewater and soil. This material is also resistant to the action of salt water. Thanks to this, the joint retains its properties for a long time, even in difficult operating conditions. Additional protrusions on the sealing sleeve ensure a secure interlocking of the positioning cage, eliminating the risk of elements shifting during use.
