The Funke VPC® flexible connector is a reliable solution for connecting drainage pipes made of different materials – cast iron, PP, PE, PVC, stoneware, concrete, GRP and others, both smooth, corrugated and ribbed. It allows connecting pipes with different outer diameters resulting from differences in the material. The connector design ensures optimal fit and a secure seal.

Construction and operating principle

The connector consists of several key elements: an elastomeric sealing cuff made of EPDM rubber (according to PN-EN 681-1 WC/60), a positioning basket made of durable plastic and two steel alloy straps. The positioning basket centers the connected elements, and the straps allow precise adjustment of the diameter on both sides. The cuff has a double sealing profile guaranteeing tightness according to PN-EN 1610. The oil-resistant version is characterized by elements made of V4A stainless steel (1.4404), which ensures resistance to the action of oils, gasoline and aggressive chemical substances present in wastewater and soil – also in a marine environment.
