PEHD-stoneware transition fitting 160, black color (HDPE drainage) 359.229.16.1
HDPE-stoneware adapter – a reliable connection for drainage systems
This transition fitting, made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), connects HDPE pipes with elements made of stoneware. It is an ideal solution during modernization of installations or connection of different wastewater drainage systems. It provides a tight and durable connection, minimizing the risk of leaks and failures.
Construction and application
The transition fitting with a diameter of 160 mm (DN 150) is intended for use in Geberit HDPE drainage systems. Its design allows for easy and quick connection with stoneware pipes, using standard mounting techniques. The length of the fitting is 140 mm, and the working connection length is 50 mm, which ensures stability and connection reliability. Made of PE-80 material, it is characterized by high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage.
Durability and resistance – key to long-term operation
The Geberit HDPE system, in which this fitting is located, is distinguished by its exceptional resistance to external factors. HDPE material is resistant to approximately 95% of standard alkalis, acids and chemicals, making it an ideal choice for industrial, laboratory and commercial building applications. In addition, the polyethylene contains special additives protecting against UV radiation, which allows for safe storage of elements outdoors for a longer time and ensures the durability of the installation even when exposed to sunlight. The fitting is also resistant to shocks, impacts and short-term pressure – it does not crack or undergo permanent deformation. This translates into lower maintenance and repair costs in the future.
