Heat shrink sleeve for HDPE drainage systems

This Geberit HDPE heat shrink sleeve, made of polyethylene (PE-80), is used to connect pipes with diameters of 50 mm and 70 mm in drainage systems. It is a key element in building durable and tight connections, especially in underground installations, inside buildings, and in industrial facilities. The use of an EPDM rubber gasket guarantees additional certainty and reliability of the connection.

The sleeve is designed for use with Geberit HDPE system pipes, ensuring full compatibility and optimal performance. Its design allows for easy and quick installation, and the material is characterized by high resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and UV radiation. This ensures that the installation maintains its properties for a long time, even in difficult operating conditions.

Construction and materials:

The sleeve is made of high-quality polyethylene (PE-80), which provides mechanical strength and chemical resistance. The gasket made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber (EPDM) ensures a tight connection even at varying temperatures and loads. The sleeve itself has a smooth surface (raw state), which facilitates the shrinking process and ensures even adhesion to the pipe. The outer diameter of connection pipe 1 is 50 mm and the outer diameter of connection pipe 2 is 70 mm, allowing connection of elements with different diameters. The working length of the connection is 229mm and 43mm for both sides of the connection, respectively.
