Construction and application

The fitting made of high-quality polyethylene (PE-80) is characterized by high tensile strength and chemical resistance – it is resistant to the action of approximately 95% of standard bases, acids and chemicals. The internal thread with a diameter of 1 1/2 inches (40 mm) allows for easy connection to existing installations. The reinforcing ring made of stainless steel additionally protects the fitting against damage during assembly and operation. This makes it suitable for applications requiring high resistance to loads, e.g. when laying in concrete.

This fitting is compatible with pipes with an outer diameter of 50 mm and has a working connection length of 30 mm.
