HDPE drainage pipe end cap – tight and durable installation termination

This 90 mm PEHD end cap with gasket, designed for Geberit HDPE drainage systems, is a reliable solution for terminating wastewater, rainwater drainage and industrial systems. Made of durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it provides long-lasting protection against leaks and damage. It is ideal for both domestic and demanding industrial conditions.

Design and application

The end cap is designed to seal pipes with a diameter of 90 mm. It has a plastic socket for welding or butt fusion, which guarantees a durable and safe connection. The gasket made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EDPM) rubber provides excellent sealing even at varying temperatures and in contact with various chemicals. This product is used in:

• building water drainage,
• roof drainage (including vacuum systems),
• industrial installations,
• laying in concrete.

Resistance and safety

The Geberit HDPE system, of which this end cap is a part, is characterized by high resistance to external factors. HDPE material is resistant to UV radiation and most standard alkalis, acids and chemicals – up to 95%. This protects the installation against corrosion and degradation, which translates into its durability and reliability. In addition, the material is resistant to shocks, drops and short-term pressure. The use of an EPDM gasket allows operation in a temperature range from 0°C to 100°C.

Installation and compatibility

The end cap is intended for use with HDPE pipes with an outer diameter of 110 mm and a nominal connection diameter of 1/4 inch (8). Installation is carried out by butt fusion or using electrofusion fittings – this requires the use of appropriate machines and tools. The product is compatible with other elements of the Geberit Pluvia system, allowing the construction of complex and efficient drainage systems.
