Universal application and high chemical resistance
This socket is used in a wide range of installations – from draining water from buildings and roof drainage, to industrial systems and commercial facilities. It can be laid in the ground, concrete or during bridge construction. The polyethylene from which it is made is characterized by exceptional resistance to approximately 95% of standard bases, acids and chemicals. In addition, the material is resistant to UV radiation, which allows for longer-term outdoor storage of elements without loss of properties. This is crucial for work carried out in the open area.
Installation and compatibility
This socket is designed for connection by butt or electrofusion welding using dedicated machines and tools. Its length of 430 mm provides an adequate contact surface during welding, which translates into connection strength. Compatible with pipes with an outer diameter of 200 mm made of PEHD. This allows it to be easily integrated with existing Geberit HDPE installations or newly designed systems. The PE construction also allows for flexible adaptation to installation conditions – the material is resistant to shocks and impacts during installation.
