Geberit HDPE Drainage System – Durability and Versatility

Geberit HDPE pipe with a diameter of 125 mm and a wall thickness of 4.9 mm is an element of a drainage system designed for various applications – both inside and outside buildings. Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage, chemicals, and UV radiation, which guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The pipe length is 5 meters.

Application and benefits

This pipe is ideal for installations draining water from buildings, roof drainage systems, as well as in industry or commercial facilities. The possibility of laying in concrete is an additional advantage, especially appreciated by installers during construction projects. The polyethylene used in production contains additives protecting against UV radiation, allowing the pipes to be stored outdoors for a longer time. Thanks to resistance to approx. 95% of standard alkalis, acids and chemicals, the Geberit HDPE system is exceptionally durable and reliable.

Construction and installation

Geberit HDPE pipes are connected by butt or electrofusion welding, using dedicated machines and tools. Welding ensures durable and tight connections, eliminating the risk of leaks and ensuring safe use. The possibility of prefabricating elements in the workshop significantly speeds up the assembly process on the construction site. The pipe has a nominal diameter of DN 125 and a ring stiffness class of SN4, and its pressure class is PN 4. The water content in the pipe is 10.4 l/m, and the permissible operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 80°C.
